YOUR OPTIONS

NATIONAL REDRESS SCHEME

The National Redress Scheme (’the Scheme’) is an option for survivors of historical child sexual abuse to seek compensation.

Unfortunately, the Scheme is not available to everyone due to the eligibility criteria and the financial compensation that may be awarded is subject to limitations.

Contact us today to discuss what the best option may be for you or your loved one.

COMMON LAW CLAIM

An alternative to the Scheme is to bring a civil claim against the institution. With this option, our team of experts work closely with survivors, and investigate all aspects surrounding the perpetrator and institution to secure the best outcome possible.

At G.O.A.T Legal, we understand that every person’s trauma is different, and it is this understanding that allows our team of experts to not only assist in our client’s healing process, but to also ensure they are properly compensated.

In our experience, financial compensation is only a small part of the recognition survivors seek when bringing their claim. We help our clients find other forms of closure, such as acknowledgement for the abuse and a formal apology from the institution responsible.

WHATEVER YOU’RE FACING, WE WILL FACE IT WITH YOU.

There are a wide range of factors to consider when determining the best option for each individual.

Our client-focused team can attune to the specific needs of abuse survivors, ensuring that we will run your claim in a respectful and empathetic manner.

We are experts in abuse law who are here to help you regain control over your life.

To find out how we can assist you, even if the abuse happened a long time ago, contact us and we will thoroughly explain the process and unpack the options available.
